With 16-year development and construction, Tanggu Marine Hi-tech Development Area has set up well-developed industrial development environment and auxiliary infrastructure facilities, which are attracting more and more local and foreign enterprises to settle here. The development and openness of Binhai New Area is listed in the National Development Strategy, which means a new development stage of Binhai New Area has come. Currently, Tanggu Marine Hi-tech Development Area has been listed as part of the "one area and three parks" development arrangement of Binhai New Area. It is supported by the related national policies which are in favor of the development of marine economy and new high-tech industries, as well as the "trial first, development first" reform policy of the Binhai New Area. A headquarters economy base featured with agglomerated science and technology intensive headquarters will be constructed to attract the regional headquarters or secondary headquarters of World Top 500 enterprises, China Top 500 enterprises, central enterprises and other large enterprises to settle in this area. The development of the headquarters economy will boost the construction of regional science and technology R & D center, decision-making management center, marking center and capital operation center.
